The Professional Domino Association was created in 2005 to give all domino enthusiasts and players an infrastructure to apply their skills, display their talents, and for the first time in the history of the game, provide an opportunity to compete in-home, in community, and on a professional US tour under the authority of an official organization.

As the definitive authority in organizing the play, quality, and growth in the game of dominoes, the PDA has an array of properties that reach a diverse consumer base and transcend all age, ethnic, educational, and social lines.

The PDA has established a leadership brand in scope with other recognizable professional sport and game authorities. We have created a competition infrastructure and maintain stewardship over the game in the worldwide community of domino players.

Our primary property is the PDA Pro Tour — a series of high stakes tournaments held in large venues in major cities during a 6 month season each year. We hosted our first tournament on October 22, 2005 in Los Angeles, California. This event was covered by ESPN, BET, CBS, L.A. Magazine and a variety of other media outlets. This inaugural event was an official starting point for the PDA, yet the impact was immediate and continued to spread throughout communities around the US.

Since our inception in 2005, we have developed an international reach through:
